Digital Imaging Systems (DIS) develops and supplies high-performance integrated camera module technology (CMT) incorporating optics designed by World Leading Partners for Optic Design. Our camera modules integrated into mobile phones are designed to offer the same superior quality as that of stand-alone digital still cameras.

Our expertise in analog imaging, system design, imaging algorithms, opto-mechanical components and actuators enables delivery of innovative, high quality, robust products with the most compact footprint and lowest power consumption available to the mobile market today.

DIS is Headquartered in Germany with additional development, support and sales operations in North America and China. DIS is backed by 3i (see press release), Europe's leading private equity and venture capital company, together with Doughty Hanson Technology Ventures and GIMV (see press release).

Our management includes a highly respected and experienced team in the semiconductor, wireless and consumer electronics industry:

  • Roland Pudelko - CEO Former President and CEO of Dialog Semiconductor, previously with Daimler-Benz Group and Temic.
  • Martin Sallenhag – VP Engineering Former Marketing Director of Dialog Semiconductor and, prior to that, with Axis Communication and Ericsson Mobile Phones.
  • Hubert Utz – VP Sales & Marketing Former Strategic Marketing Manager of Dialog Semiconductor and, prior to that, with National Semiconductor.
  • Hans Döing – VP Supply Chain Management Former Head of Global Production Technology at BenQ and, prior to that, with Siemens Mobile.
  • Dieter Otten – VP Finance Former Head of Finance and Accounting Ansorg and, prior to that, with Vodafone Information Systems.
